Gresham Wagner and the Spark Performance team will begin the 2020 MX-5 Cup season at Road America later this week. The delayed season gets underway with a pair of races on Thursday and Friday, July 23-24.
The team was on track earlier this month at the MX-5 Pre-season Test at Mid-Ohio. Wagner posted the 3rd fastest time of the day. After his first season in MX-5 Cup, Wagner is looking forward to returning to Road America with experience from 2019. The races at Road America always produce close racing and exciting finishes, and Wagner expects to be battling for a pair of strong results to start the season.
